Marsworth flight

4 miles 7 locks
The plan for today was to go down the Wendover arm and spend the night there prior to doing Marsworth and Aylesbury in the morning.
However some inconsiderate #$*$#*#* left a paddle up all night, so the Tring summit was very low in water. We met a C&RT guy who said that they were pumping water up from the reservoir but it would take most of tne day to restore the level.
It was very unlikely that deep draughted Uncle Mort would get down the arm, and even Just Heaven might struggle. So we changed plans and walked down the Wendover arm, across some fields and back up part of the Aylesbury arm in the morning. After lunch we just dropped down the first six locks of the Marsworth flight.
