Having removed all the seats we removed the lining in order to put in insulation. Standard Rockwall type insulation for the sides, and silvered bubble wrap type for the roof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But first I cut a hole in the roof for the skylight. A bit trepidatious, but it went OK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insulation done. The wiring for the lights had to go in first<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The next thing was to start on the woodwork. This proved more tricky than expected because there are no straight lines or right angles in a van!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I made a start on the rear storage and the bed\/seating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next came the shower\/toilet area. This proved very tricky because of the curve of the sides. The toilet is designed to fit against a flat, upright wall, which we didn’t have. More cutting holes in the side of the van for the door to the toilet cassette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
