Exactly a year from the day we set off on the France\/Spain trip we are off for a night away. Since our last trip we have had Bertie’s windows tinted for privacy, and I have installed a gas powered space heater for comfort!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We travelled up to the Clent Hills outside Birmingham. We used to come here almost 50 years ago when we were first married. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A short walk followed by excellent sausage and bacon sandwiches for lunch. Then a longer walk, we can’t stay overnight in the NT car park so we first tried a nearby layby, then moved to the car park of the Robin Hood pub. There weren’t serving food, so we had a drink then ate in Bertie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
