We drove up to Banbury the afternoon before the festival to avoid having to get up at 4:00 am. After parking up in the layby we went and said hello to the neighbours!
Jan and Mike joined us at about 6 o’clock the next morning and we set off for Cropredy at 6:45. At first they wouldn’t let us in as it was too early, but then almost straight away they said we could. So in we went and were first on the field with prime choice of site.
As usual the festival was great, the reduced number of people made it slightly roomier with less pressure for places. On the last day we chose a completely different spot which worked out well.
