Two nights away with Mo, Jim & ‘Frank’.
We arrived around one o’clock and they were about half an hour later. After a bit of discussion about where to pitch we settled down. There were no other campers in the CL.
We have both been to Dark Orchard before, but not together. The weather wasn’t brilliant and the forecast not much better, but we set off for the town anyway.
Ice creams were taken in “Sheperds” followed by a good wander around the book shops etc. Then back to the vans.
It was a cold, wet night, but the sun started to come out. I realised that I had left my razor at home, so Heddi and I walked to the Coop to buy disposables. As we were leaving Mo asked for some ‘pastries’. They didnt have pastries but did have croissants, which were consumed as elevensies. After lunch we went for a walk along the riverside path to the church and back.
The next morning the weather wasn’t good, so after a lazy breakfast we did the packing up chores and separately headed home.
