Together with Jan & Mike in their van we have spent the last few days at “Fairport’s Cropredy Convention“. This is a three day music festival held at Cropredy in Oxfordshire.
The overwhelming thing about this year’s festival was the heat! The temperature was in the low to mid thirties each day. So it became impossible to sit in that heat for several hours a day. We found ways to cool off.
Some of the musical highlights were:
Edward II, The Trevor Horn Band, The Slambovian Circus of Dreams, Seth Lakeman, Holy Moly & the Crackers, The Bar Steward Sons of Val Doonican, Richard Thompson, and of course Fairport Convention.
