Dorset 2025

We have spent a few days with Liz, Jess and Frankie at their usual campsite at Osmington Mills.

The first day was very hot and we were all trying to get into the shade of Bertie’s awning. It was cooler the second day and we went to Weymouth. After wandering around the shops a bit and having a pasty for lunch we & Frankie walked along to Lodmore beach while Liz and Jess took the car.

Whilst they stayed on the beach we went for a long walk through Lodmore nature reserve.

On our last day we all climbed up to the top of the “Osmington White Horse”, which is supposed to be George III.

We left The campsite later on and headed for a Britstop near Stourhead for our visit the following day.

Gloucester Old Spots

The Britstop was at “Kimbers” farm shop. We bought some Gloucester Old Spot sausages for our supper, and ate them next to these!

It was a bit bit damp and drizzley for our day at Stourhead, but it was still enjoyable.
