Somerset

Over the summer we went on three short trips to Somerset, staying in 3 CLs, one popup site and one commercial campsite.

For the first trip we started in a ‘popup’ site near Cothlestone Hill. We were one of only two campers in the field. The only facilities were composting toilets, but there was an amazing view.

From there we moved on to a little CL in the village of Roadwater – great walking country.

Later in the summer we had another couple of days, first at Clevedon Golf centre, then at a farm near Kenn.

The last trip on the year took us to Blue Anchor for Caroline’s wedding.
