We wondered whether the toilet blocking was caused by the fact that we had been caused by the fact that we had been flushing with less water recently due to the water pump not working properly.
A while ago another boater gave me what he said was a brand new water pump. So, with a bit of modification to the plumbing I fitted it. It didnt work! First there was leakage from the pump itself, I fixed that, and then it simply didnt pump. It made a noise, but no output.
So a quick phone call to Saul marina to make sure they had one in stock. Then a trip there to fetch it.
We now have a working water pump!
I contacted C&RT to ask for an extension to our time here due to the battery problem, which they agreed to.
