After over two months here on the G&S, we are starting the trip back up to Droitwich.
Sue and Tom are coming with us. To save having to leave Tom’s car in Purton Will drove the four of us there. After unloading and carrying the food, clothes etc along to the boat, Will returned and we set off. By now it was gone one o’clock and lunchtime was calling, so we moored up briefly by Splatt bridge for lunch then carried on.
We reached the mooring just before Netheridge Bridge, that we have used before, at about 5 o’clock and stopped for the night.
Sue had brought an excellent lasagne which was consumed with a certain amount of wine, preceded by G&T!
