The plan was to get back to the marina today and drive home, so we didnt want to be too late. We couldn’t get through Holt lock before 8:00 so we set off about 7:30.

The first two locks at Hawford were hard work as usual. Then we did the next one on our own, but caught up with another boat and shared all the double locks with them. On the 5 mile pound from the top lock to Droitwich they were going slower and slower. It looked looked they had something round their prop.

Luckily they stopped in the basin so we carried on without them. Going under the M5 tunnel we had more headroom than on the way down.
