A good day weatherwise. The clouds have gatthered a bit since first thing, but there’s still blue in the sky.

Loads of bird song here. Our ‘Merlin’ song recogition app has detected 8 or 9 different ones.

This afternoon I did a bit of maintenance. It started off with just scleaning up the locker where we top up the water. I cleaned it, wire brushed it, and then painted with Hammerite. Having done that I did the same to the paint tin locker and then the locker where we keep the windlasses, mooring pins etc.

Evening exercise was taken walking back up to Fretherne bridge along the towpath, then back through the woods and fields.
