Saul Junction
A day of visitors. Adam and Sian arrived at 10:30 and we took them for a chug up to Saul. We moored up and then retraced yesterday’s walk back to their car, then on to pick up our car.
Meanwhile we had a call from Nikki saying that they were on the way. We told them about the broken Sandford bridge. So they went over Fretherne and parked on the side of the road. We caught up and did the same, but by then they had already started walking to the boat.
After a glass of cider we all went for a walk along the line of the unrestored Stroudwater canal.
They left, then in the evening after the bridge keepers had gone home we popped down to do a pumpout.
