Yesterday we drove up to the marina, the journey was delayed by an accident on the M5 near the M6 junction.

It took a bit longer than usual to unload as we have brought quite a lot of stuff. We are going up the Leeds and Liverpool to Skipton where we’ll meet up with Andrew & Sheila on a hire boat. Then into Liverpool after meeting Simon & Karen somewhere near Wigan.

Last night’s stop was at Anderton by the lift. Then this morning an early start (6:30am), through the three tunnels and on to Lymm for lunch an a pop to Sainsburys.

It’s been very busy with boats on the Bridgewater, we decided not to stop in Lymm, but have come a mile or so further on and found a lovely mooring in tne countryside.
