Again the weather forecast said rain all day, we woke up to rain but it more or less stopped for the rest of the day except a bit of drizzle at times.

All the locks were in our favour until we reached Compton lock at about 2:00.

We had lunch then I emailed Brian to see where they were and soon after Harnser came through the bridge. They stopped and we had a natter during which our coolie hat blew off! Brian lent me his magnet, but I couldn’t find it. We’ll have to get one (or a cover) before we leve the boat at the marina.

We did a quick trip to the Sainsbury’s local that has replaced the Daisy Freezer centre for a few things. It then rained most of the evening.
