Kinver

Another lovely warm sunny day. More boats about today and lots of fishermen. Whilst we were still in bed we could hear the fishermen trundling their kit along the towpath. They all congregated just in front of our boat. It looked like they were organising themselves for a match. After a while they all dissappeared, but we met them again all spread out just before the moorings above Bratch Locks.

When we got to Bumblehole lock we were third in a queue and one crew seemed particularly slow, so we waited for nearly an hour. The staircase pair at Botterham often causes a bit of a queue but we were through in about 40mins. We followed the same three boats all day and had to turn every lock. But we got back to Kinver at about 4:30, packed up and left for home.
