Jan & Mike arrived just before 9 o’clock having set off at 6:30!

We unloaded their stuff and set off for the Anderton Lift . Our booked slot wasn’t until 3:45. So we had an early lunch then went to the office to see if we could go earlier. It seems that the CRT system wont let you change a booking,but it will let you cancel one and make another!. The new booking was for 2;15.

As we had a bit of time to spare we showed Jan & Mike around the visitor’s centre and had a good look at the lift from outside.

We went down with NB No Frontiers, fellow Cutwebbers Bob and Jan.

Just a short chug up the River Weaver into Northwich to moor for the night on the new floating pontoons .
