We arrived last night and did a few jobs on board. This morning Jan & Mike arrived about 10 o’clock. They are with us for the next three days.

After unpacking their mountains of stuff and having a cup of tea we set off. It wasn’t long before we arrived at the M5 tunnel. I edged up to the gauge board, but it was obvious that we would need to remove the anchor box from the roof.

That done, we edged slowly though with only about 3″ to spare. On arriving at Vines park we stopped briefly to pop to Waitrose to get stuff for lunch. Then a short chug round to the finger moorings in Netherwich basin for lunch.

It was then a very pleasant trip down to Hawford. We stopped short of the busy A449 crossing. There are visitor’s moorings the other side, but it’s noisier there.
